Yes. You can not work without a video. The video must be on at all times for safety reasons.

They are strangers but you both have something in common: you are committed to your goals. That said, you are not chatting with them. You simply show up, say hello, state which tasks you will complete and get to work. 

So far, we have yet to meet someone that isn’t blown away by how much more work they were able to get done by working with an accountability partner. 

During the session, no. You should only speak to your partner at the beginning and end of your session. In the beginning of the session, you only want to greet your partner and state what you plan on getting done. At the end of the session, you will have about 10 min before you or your partner might have another session lined up. At this time you can chat with your partner more, if you so choose.

A focus session is 50min long.
